A meeting of the AUTA EC was held on the 13th of January 2023.
The minutes of the EC Meeting are:
Agenda Item 1: Trip to the FEDCUTA National Executive Meeting and Elections on the 25th and 26th of February, 2023- regarding.
Resolution:
The President and General Secretary are to attend the meeting and cast their votes by availing of the cheapest Airfare from easemytrip.com. The EC sanctioned an advance amount of INR 40,000/- for this trip to cover the TA/DA for both the Office Bearers which may be adjusted on their return.
Agenda Item 2: Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the AUTA- regarding
Resolutions:
(i) The Committee already formed to conduct the sports event was requested to finalise the dates for the Three-Day Sports Event (any three days between the 13th-20th of February 2023) and also prepare a budget for the Event and finalise the matter in the next EC to be held on the 19th of January, 2023.
(ii) The link for the new AUTA website will be shared with the extended EC members for comments. Members thanked Dr. Mukut Sarmah for the brilliant job done in launching the AUTA website. Both the Vice-President, Dr. Hmar and Jt. Secretary Dr. Amit K Das were requested to provide material on the activities of AUTA along with the collaborative works done through the FEDCUTA in recent times.
(iii) The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) Committee was requested to finalise a date in February for the event and provide details to the AUTA EC during the next Meeting on the 19th of January, 2023.
(iv) Before launching the AUTA Telegram Group, the rules and regulations for the Admin were to be finalised in the following EC for the smooth conduct and functioning of the group.
(v) The possibility of hosting a Cultural Event will also be discussed on the 19th of January, 2023.
(vi) The AUTA Magazine is to be finalised by compiling the articles received from members. Dr. Hmar, the Vice-President and her team were requested to do the needful. EC members were also requested to contact senior members for article contribution.
Agenda Item 3: Any Other Matter:
(i) The matter related to the concerns of NPS and OPS by superannuated members of AUTA was discussed.
Resolution: A Committee comprising the President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Dr. Mukut Sarmah, Dr. Chetan Khobragade and Dr. Sanjay Sinha was constituted and assigned the responsibility of discussing the matter with the competent Authority and find a resolution.
(ii) Farewell for the superannuated members of AUTA – regarding.
Resolution:
Dr. Amalendu Chakraborty (GS) and Dr. Bishwa Ranjan Roy (Jt. Secretary) were requested to make a list of the members and procure the mementos for the Farewell Program to be organised at the AUTA Office in February 2023.
